Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park in California is a non-profit that focuses on educational fun. The theme park has something for everyone including thrill seekers.
During Veterans Week, the park offers active and retired veterans free admission to the park with valid ID. Up to 6 additional guests can get their tickets for 50% off. Once you enter the park, you can show your ID to the ticket window services. This offer is valid Nov. 11-13, 2022, but we hope they repeat it every year!

Busch Gardens Seaworld And Sesame Place

Veterans Honored With Free Admission To Theme Parks Free Food
There are ceremonies throughout California honoring veterans on Friday, November 11. In addition to the celebrations, several theme parks and restaurants in California are offering free admission or food. Aquarium of the Pacific, Hooters, Subway, McCormick & Schmicks and Olive Garden are a few.
Kudos to Knotts Berry Farm thats offering past and present U.S. Military and Veterans Free Admission during its 22nd Annual Military Tribute.
Knotts, Americas First Theme Park, is the only Theme Park that has continuously offered Free Admission to Veterans and Active Duty Military in honor of Veterans Day. The Free Admission also includes one guest and up to six additional tickets may be purchased at a Knotts Ticket booth for $17 each. Active Duty Military and Veterans must present a Military ID or proof of U.S. Military Service at the ticket booths.

Almost every theme park in the United States offers discounts for active members of the military and veterans, but several are offering free admission in May to celebrate National Military Appreciation Month.
At Busch Gardens parks in Tampa and Williamsburg, U.S. military veterans and up to three guests can redeem a free one-day admission to its parks between April 25 and May 15. Active-duty military and their guests continue to enjoy one-day complimentary entry all year long.
SeaWorld is also honoring Military Appreciation Month at its parks in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego by providing complimentary one-day admission to veterans and their families from April 25 through May 15. Active-duty military members and their guests can also enjoy one-day free entry throughout the year.
Other theme parks offering free admission to veterans and active-duty members of the military include Magic Springs, Sun Splash Family Waterpark, Colonial Williamsburg, Kings Island, Gilroy Gardens, LEGOLAND Discovery Centers and Cedar Point.

Universal Studios Hollywood offers discount options to all members of US Armed Forces all year long!
Eligible members include retirees, DOD personnel, members of the National Guard/Reserves, dependents and all other base personnel.
Tickets for these specially priced offers must be purchased in advance and can only be obtained at participating MWR/ITT offices throughout the United States. These special military rates are not available at the Universal Studios Hollywood box office. A military or U.S. Government I.D. is required for purchase.
If you do not pre-purchase your tickets before arriving to the park, you are still eligible for a $3.00 discount off General Admission tickets and $3.00 off 48″ and below tickets.
